Dr Stephen Godfrey specialises in all aspects of general ophthalmology.

After graduating from the University of Queensland Medical School, Dr Stephen Godfrey had seven years of invaluable and enjoyable general practice as a country Medical Superintendent working predominantly in the central west of Queensland.  After returning to Brisbane to complete his ophthalmologist specialist training under the Queensland Training Scheme, Dr Godfrey was very fortunate to gain the opportunity of working for 18 months at Taunton Hospital in Somerset, England.  There he completed his general ophthalmological training in all major sub-specialty areas.

Dr Godfrey has lectured both in Australia and overseas.

Dr Godfrey is also involved with the Wuchopperen Aboriginal Eye Service in remote North Queensland.

Dr Godfrey provides his specialist services at Vision Eye Institute Southport, Coolangatta and Robina.
