Dr Thomas Eshun-Wilson

Dr Eshun-Wilson specialises in all aspects of cataract surgery.

He has special interests in macular degeneration and glaucoma.

Dr Eshun-Wilson graduated in 1993 from the medical school of The University of Natal, South Africa. After some time in the UK he completed his Ophthalmology training in 2003 at the University of Cape Town in South Africa.

Dr Eshun-Wilson was appointed Consultant Lasik Surgeon for the Bristol Lasik Clinic, UK in 2003.He was one of the two founding cataract surgeons working on the mobile cataract service for Netcare UK Ltd in 2004 & 2005, during which he performed over 2900 cataract extractions. In 2006 in worked at Fremantle Hospital, WA where he helped train Ophthalmology registrars. In 2007 he became a VGH partner in Hervey Bay and Maryborough, QLD.

Dr Eshun-Wilson is widely read with a special interest in neuro-ophthalmology.

He is a very keen traveller to ancient sites around the world.

Dr Eshun-Wilson provides his specialist services at Vision Eye Institute Hervey Bay and Maryborough in Queensland & visits Tin Can Bay fortnightly.
