Dr Julian Sack

Dr Julian Sack is a specialist cataract and glaucoma surgeon. He completed his medical training at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa in 1984, and qualified in ophthalmology in 1991.

He completed a fellowship at the RVEEH in 1993 and obtained FRANZCO and FRACS status in 1994.

He is now a staff specialist at the RVEEH, and lectures to numerous groups including the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the Victorian College of Optometry on complex cataract and glaucoma surgery. As well as performing cataract surgery and drainage surgery, he is one of the few ophthalmic surgeons in Victoria with a special interest in managing both complex cataract and refractive patients as well as the surgical management of glaucoma.

Dr Sack is in private practice at the Vision Eye Institute Camberwell, Blackburn South and Coburg where his main focus is on the management of cataracts.
